Kid British Gig.......

............... did not happen! Got to Monto Water Rats, got charged £4.20 for a (single) G&T...... Erm Water Rats is really not the kind of venue that can get away with charging that much. I don't mind paying if it's a nice place but c'mon! Anyway, it was so packed we had no hope of seeing the band......... don't sell that many tickets if you don't have the space! So we left after one, ended up in The Hawley with a bottle of the house white :-D Oh Yeah!
XX
ps I'm sure Kid British were marvelous x

Kim Rugg

This stamp has been chopped up into tiny pieces and glued to the envelope. Since its the physical value of the stamp that allows the letter to be sent it was successfully delivered.

Kim Rugg plays around with this sort of thing a lot in her work and it totally fascinates me.
I can't help wondering about the lack of an address.
It's currently being exhibited in the Nettie Horn gallery on Vyner Street in London. Cool.

The Enemy

Me and Lyds took a trip to Brixton on Saturday night to see The Enemy. Many people find quite a lot of self-importance in taking a dislike to The Enemy......... bloody music snobs, but the fact is they rock. It was an AMAZING gig, such a good atmosphere, we were knackered by the end. They only played a couple of new tracks but we love the old ones so no problem there!

One of the support acts, Kid British were brilliant as well. There were loads of them and they really got the crowd going....... we're gonna try and go to a couple of their gigs in the near future.

To sum-up, loved it!

Highlights from Week......

Highlight One:
Rumble Strips Gig- I've only seen them once before and loved their first album. They played some new songs and all the old ones.

Highlight Two:
Pasta Night! With Amy which was long over-due, much gossiping and Bucks Fizzing :-)

Highlight Three:
Lydia's Homecoming! She is back which means I am no longer home alone and have a flat-mate! She is tanned and a lot blonder (although she did have highlights the day after she got back) haha

Highlight Four:
Haron Walked! I think that needs no explaining, he put one foot in front of the other a few times, balancing himself, with nobody holding his hand and without holding on to anything......
10 months old only very advanced! He kind of ignored the whole crawling thing.

Not much else has been going on, just been at Premier & doing uni work, will report back when something good happens!

Sorry if this has been a crap blog but I've got a lot of uni work etc.

My First Entry :-)

Spent a few days in Paris at the end of last week for a romantic little city break with Paul. It was lovely, we had an amazing view of the Sacré Coeur from our hotel room and the weather was great.

Whilst in The Louvre I came across this huge pot. Its so big. I could live in it.

We saw The Killers play The Zenith whilst we were out there. I don't usually go to such big gigs but it was well worth it. The production was amazing, must of cost so much money! Brandon Flowers is definitely Top 5!

Thats all for now xx
Hey, i'm new to blogging. I'll put bits and bobs up here......... will write more later. xx
